What would you do if your rights, citizenship, or nationality was taken from you? Because of a controversial judgment of the Tribunal Court (sentence 168/13), thousands of Dominicans will retroactively lose their citizenship because they are the descendants of undocumented immigrants.
We recognize the sovereignty of the Dominican Republic to establish its own laws and policies on migration, but we call upon its leaders to restore full citizenship rights to people affected by the sentence.
A youth delegation from around the Dominican Republic will be meeting with the government on December 16. They will be presenting our signatures – from within the Dominican Republic, across Latin America, and globally.
Show your solidarity! Rally your friends to sign the petition so the youth delegation and those affected by the sentence can show we are standing behind them.
